This cute fabric advent calendar has been handmade by me using the Advent House fabric panel from Dashwood Studio.  Dashwood Studio is a UK based textile design company.  The panel is very cute and colourful and features 24 pockets, each decorated with festive theme e.g. a bear with a Santa hat on or a snowman.  The pockets sit on a turquoise backing panel with snow and snowflakes scattered across it and it's in the theme of a house.  I have used a thin 2 ounce wadding to make the advent a little sturdier.  The back panel is red and white polka dot and is quilted with vertical lines and I have top stitched around the outside of the advent to prevent rolling. The hanging loops are made from gingham ribbon.  Please note the dowel rod and chocolates in the photos are not included.
