This cute little cosmetic case pattern is from Straight Stitch Society and is relatively easy to make so is suitable for beginners.  The cosmetic case closes with a zip and is fully lined.  The pattern suggests you use three different fabrics, one for the main pouch, one for the lining and one for the embellishments.  It suggests 2 fat quarters but you will have fabric leftover from this, so if you have larger bits of scraps already this should be enough.

This would make a lovely gift for someone who loves to sew, or you could even make it as a gift for someone else.

There are 3 different views available:
🧵 View 1 has frills on the front
🧵 View 2 has pleats on the front
🧵 View 3 has scalloped frills on the front

The pattern is in paper format.

🧵 Suggested fabrics: light to medium weight woven fabrics such a quilting cotton, broadcloth, poplin, chambray and linen.

🧵Notions: 8" zip, lightweight fusible interfacing

🧵 Finished size is approximately 8" wide x 5" high x 1 1/2" deep
