🧵 About the craft kit;
This craft kit is a lovely little activity to do for adults and kids. The kits include everything you need to make your very own little ornament, you just need scissors. The kits consist of colour written instructions, ornament templates, acrylic felt, embroidery floss, mini pompoms, buttons and sequins (depending on the ornament), and a needle.
The kits are designed for hand sewing, so are easy to make and are suitable for beginners. You really only need a straight stitch, but if you're more experienced than you can include a blanket stitch and there are links to clips in the instructions.
Your bee will look great hanging from your houseplants, your door handles, your keys or use it to add a splash of colour to your house!

🧵 About the wildflower seeds;
The British wildflower seeds are contained in a handmade drawstring bag. The bag is made from an environmentally friendly heavy hemp linen fabric (55% Hemp, 45% Cotton). The block print used is from the Indian Block Printing Company, which is a family run business that gets their block prints from India. The prints are made from sustainably managed sources that are replanted and they pay a fair wage to the local people they work with. The paint used is a water-based non-toxic paint
🧵 About the socks;
The socks are from Bare Kind, which is an independent and responsible business. The company was started in 2018 by Lucy, who works with conservation charities and donates 10% of the profits to the animals on your socks, so in this case the bees! The socks themselves are made in a factory in Istanbul. It is a third generation family-run factory, fully BSCI and SEDEX audited with all workers over the age of 18 and receiving fair wages.
The socks come in four sizes; UK 9-12 (kids), UK 12-3 (kids), UK4-7 and UK 7-11 (see photos for size/age indication).
On a personal note, I absolutely LOVE these socks and bought some for myself and as gifts before the opportunity to work this incredible company came up, so I can vouch for the socks!
